how to make sunflowers stand up in a vase

I have a beautiful vase that was given to me as a gift some time ago, but the problem is that the opening is rather large. I have faux Easter eggs and I’m thinking about putting them in a glass vase and sticking stems of faux Spring/ Easter flowers in it. I love sunflowers in my house. Love those little guys.

I have fake/silk ones all over in my TV room and at the door. When I put a beautiful bunch of flowers in there they often fall outwards, leaving a gaping hole in the middle, which makes my entire arrangement look rather scraggly and inadequate – not the words that should come to mind when I look at flowers! Thanks for the pointers. Thanks for the good advice!

If I buy sunflowers, I'll know how to extend their blooms now thanks to this post!Your sunflowers are so happy and pretty. Sunflowers make me happy; they just do. Start adding them to the vase and if one looks a little low just pull it up and the rubber band makes them all stay in place and at the perfect height. Cut one inch off the stems at an angle. Thank you so much for sharing. {"smallUrl":"https:\/\/www.wikihow.com\/images\/thumb\/8\/84\/Perk-Up-Wilting-Flowers-Step-1-Version-2.jpg\/v4-460px-Perk-Up-Wilting-Flowers-Step-1-Version-2.jpg","bigUrl":"\/images\/thumb\/8\/84\/Perk-Up-Wilting-Flowers-Step-1-Version-2.jpg\/aid1318423-v4-728px-Perk-Up-Wilting-Flowers-Step-1-Version-2.jpg","smallWidth":460,"smallHeight":306,"bigWidth":"728","bigHeight":"484","licensing":"
