Reading reviews, it appears this has been a comic for decades, who knew. Cutter barely makes an appearance in this volume.

The depth and imagination of the early volumes, combined with the careful, beautiful artwork have been hugely inspiring. Even now I can remember the way those hardcover editions of the first adventures felt like, the ones I used to borrow from the library again and again. Utterly nonsensical. I read this book so I could finally know how the series ended, I started these books when I was in third or fourth grade, but I grew up a lot faster than they were written so I ha to come back to at least see the end. But this?Cutter's finally able to call *all* of the elves in the world - but what will happen when they hear that call?

If you haven't read every little thing than you are just going to find youself drowning in a bunch of relationships that make no sense, and struggling to remember why who can do what, and who is sleeping with who, and what is okay with everyone and....UGH...I'm glad Wendy Fletcher wrote in to the Silver Surfer letters page and met her lifemate and gave us this wonderful series to get caught up in when things on this world of one moon get to be too much.

It picked up a bit as the story focused on Ember's tribe being attacked by humans, but there really didn't seem like much point, as they could be rescued at any time by the others showing up in the palace, so there was no real threat. I’m humbled and also filled, and touched beyond what I can explain. As a teenager Elf Quest was my favourite comics. Deliver to Ask the Holy Spirit to give you discernment when you read this book or anything else. They have to deal with humans, some who have become family and not just enemies. Wendy Pini is a talented artist. They blended together.When I was a teenager, I loved Elfquest. In an action-packed adventure, join Ralph and friends on an epic voyage to find his lost father. Insanely good.
